How do you let your QB get sacked more than any other in the NFL?
Sam Howell has been sacked more than any other quarterback this season - and it's early yet.
The short answer might be a lack of confidence,
or the lack of ability.
Basically, you either can't *or don't want to* back him up.
Could be either.
Howell can be slow to throw, but the hits seem to come after the passes; a demoralizing aspect for any QB.
Again, the line seems a bit weaker than than can or should be, for morale or whatever reasons, including internal (and external) team turmoil, which makes it hard to persevere, one can imagine.
Let's see how it plays out.
