Top 10 Point Guards In The NBA Today

I will be listing my opinion of the top 10 point guards in the NBA today. My criteria mostly consists of overall skill, talent, and performance in the 2022-2023 season.

  1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Season Stats: 31.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 6.8 APG

Coming fresh off of a championship and finals MVP, Curry is going into this season just as we thought he would. The best shooter of all time is still one of the best players in the world, leading the Warriors in 4/5 major stat catergories this season.

2. Luka Dončić, Dallas Mavericks

Season Stats: 36.0 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 8.6 APG

Luka has had a historical start so far, scoring 30+ points in all 8 games of this season. He is looking like the early MVP favorite so far, and is doing everything right for the Mavericks.

3. Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

Season Stats: 31.0 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 4.6 APG

After a long battle with injury, Dame is back, and he's here to show you that he is still a top 10 player in the league. He already has two 40 point games under his belt this season, as the Blazers are the one seed in the west.

4. Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks

Season Stats: 27.5 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 9.4 APG

Trae is one of the best scorers and playmakers in the league, and with an amazing supporting cast around him, he could lead the Hawks very far this season.

5. Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets

Season Stats: 26.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 5.1 APG

Irving is showing he is still an elite player after injury, scoring 30+ points 4 times this season and being more aggressive with the scoring load in Brooklyn. Expect him to go off after this suspension.

6. Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies

Season Stats: 29.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 7.0 APG

7. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

Season Stats: 32.3 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 6.3 APG

8. Darius Garland, Cleveland Cavaliers

Season Stats: 29.0 PPG, 5 RPG, 12 APG

9. Chris Paul, Phoenix Suns

Season Stats: 9.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 11.0 APG

10. De'Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings

Season Stats: 24.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 4.8 APG
