Survivor Picks Week 4 (2023 NFL Season)

Week 4 of the NFL season is here, and hopefully, you made the right choice last week in survivor pools. As for my record regarding the Top 5 Survivor picks in the 2023 NFL Season, I went 4-1 in Week 1 and 3-2 in Week 2. As for last week I went 2-3 and for the entire 2023 season my record in Top 5 Survivor options is 9-6. Now that Week 3 is behind us, I'm back to give you my Top 5 Suggestions for survivor pools, identify a trap survivor game, and give an option I would have went with in survivor.

1. Kansas City Chiefs at New York Jets

Yep, the Chiefs are the number 1 option on the list for survivor picks. Especially as Zach Wilson is starting and he is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL today and it is not even close. Honestly Wilson may be the biggest draft bust in the franchise’s history and that is saying a lot with the brutal 1st rounders the Jets have made. The Jets defense has not played up to the hype and this offense has not been run well. It doesn’t matter if the Chiefs are home or not, they should take care of business.

On a side note, I swear if I hear one more word of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift at all in this game, I will mute the TV as a Jets fan. Like I don’t care about who is dating who, I just want to watch football. There is no need to mention it 10,000 times like the NFL did last week.

2. San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals may have upset the Cowboys, but this week they face the 49ers who are considered a Superbowl contender. I still don’t consider Dallas a Superbowl contender with Dak struggling and losing Trevon Diggs due to injury. The 49ers also have had extra rest and time to prepare for this game. Along with them being the home team for this game, they should take care of business.

3. Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Commanders

I don’t like division games, but the Eagles are an intriguing option. This sort of feels like a mismatch, because the Commanders are horrendous. They should be an 0-3 team, but the Cardinals choked, and the refs helped them in that Denver game & the Broncos are incompetent. I do have a question, why in the world are the Eagles 8-point favorites in this game? If that spread remains, I may even put money on the game as that is just free money.

4. Los Angeles Chargers vs Las Vegas Raiders

This would normally be a risk pick here, because it is a divisional game and I think both of these teams are absolutely poorly coached. I don’t know who is the worst coach, Josh McDaniels of the Raiders or Brandon Staley of the Chargers. However, with Jimmy Garoppolo’s concussion I have to rank them higher. Especially as Brian Hoyer has not been great in years and I don’t know how ready Aidan O’Connell is. I was high on him in the draft, but i have a feeling the Raiders will start Hoyer. Plus this Raiders defense only has one good player in DE/EDGE Maxx Crosby. The Chargers offense should take care of business, even though there head coach is terrible. Why is Brandon Staley still employed with this team again?

5. Jacksonville Jaguars vs Atlanta Falcons (In London)

This is the risk pick as this game in in London. I normally hate picking London games in survivor, but this is a pick against Atlanta. People have been given so much hate with how Zach Wilson has played this year, but what about Desmond Ridder. Ridder has looked terrible this season and I am not a fan of how the Falcons have ran this offense. I legit am done with Kyle Pitts as it is clear he is not a fit on this team and I legit am contemplating picking up Jonnu Smith in my deep fantasy leagues and even in dynasty. He’s getting the targets, so why not. The Atlanta Falcons defense is pretty mediocre too and this should be a nice bounce back spot for the Jaguars.

Trap Game - Chicago Bears vs Denver Broncos

Are you out of your mind for even wanting to touch this game? I mean I would rather bet Inter Miami's MLS team playing an NFL Game than either of these teams. This game is the 1st Tank Game in the Tournament for the 1st overall pick. I think the Broncos are going to win this game as they will be severely pissed off after losing to Miami who scored 70 points on them. Strangely enough the best player on that field was Russell Wilson as he looked solid last week. He should do a solid job performing against an awful Bears defense. While the Broncos defense is terrible as well the Bears o-line is a mess, and I don’t think Justin Fields is the guy. Just stay away from taking the Bears this week and don’t put any money on this game either.

Record (3-0) - Week 1: Seattle Seahawks, Week 2: Denver Broncos, Week 3: Tennessee Titans

Who I Would Have Went in Survivor - Philadelphia Eagles

Since the Jacksonville Jaguars burned me last week, I am eliminated in survivor. However, I still am going to make choices in Survivor that I would have made if I was still alive. So, in this case I would not be able to take Jacksonville since I used them in Week 3. I want to wait to use the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers as they have a ton of future value. This pick came down to the Philadelphia Eagles or Los Angeles Chargers. The Eagles may have more future value, but I can’t trust the Chargers, especially as Brandon Staley is still their head coach. Remind me why he wasn't fired in January again? Anyways, yeah, I would have taken the Philadelphia Eagles in survivor this week.

Record (2-1) - Week 1: Washington Commanders, Week 2: Buffalo Bills, Week 3: Jacksonville Jaguars
