This would be the tenth game for both teams. It is hard to believe that 10 games have already gone by in this crazy NBA season. The grizzlies are off to a hot start this season, coming off arguably its best offensive performance against the Hornets on Friday in a 130-99 win. A positive is that Ja and Bane didn't have to carry that game as it was the contributions of the rest of the roster. To be specific, Dillion Brooks and Steven Adams. While Morant and Bane usually carry the workload, it's good to know the other players can do contribute on their own.
The Grizzlies welcome the Wizards to FedEx Forum today at 5:00. After starting out 3-1 on the year, the Wizards have lost four of their last five, including a 32-point blowout loss to the problematic Nets. The Wizards have struggled on both ends of the floor this year and they are without their star Bradley Beal. Even so, Beal hasn't quite been himself so far this year. The many young options on the Wizards team also continue to develop slowly but surely. There are not many options on this offense except Kuzma And Porzinigis.
This is the game the Grizz should be able to take control of early and earn another needed win. However, this does require the offense to stay strong, and the defense to make plays early just like on Friday. Keys to a Grizz victory include: Prioritize the Three and Stay Disclepined. Final Score Prediction Grizzlies 129 WIzards 104. Game MVP: Desmond Bane.
