Every Team plays tonight as the Chicago Bulls at home take on the Raptors. Losing to the Raptors yesterday while missing Zach Lavine, the Bulls look to get back to .500 with a win today. With Pascal Siakam still out and Zach Lavine expected to play, the Bulls are favorites in this matchup. A key point from the last game was Derozan's shot attempts, as he was held to only 9 shots with teammates Alex Caruso(1/11), Nikola Vucevic(8/13), Patrick Williams(5/16), Goran Dragic(6/10), and Ayo Dosunmu(6/15) all attempting more shots than him. Also having 5 Turnovers, Derozans performance last night was lackluster.
Getting off of Derozan the team statistically had a fine game. Our main problem lined with keeping the Ball as we had 8 More turnovers than the Raptors. This and their offensive rebounding allowed them to take 15 more shots than us throughout the whole game and were able to take a win despite shooting worse from the field by about 3%.
KEY POINTS-
Demar DeRozan-After the slow game he had last night, I expect Demar to have somewhat of a bounce-back game. Even with Lavine returning to the lineup I don't see him taking as few shots as he did in our previous matchup.
Team Matchup-The Toronto Raptors outrank us in PPG, Defensive Rating, Offensive Rating, and FG%. But on the bright side, with Pascal Siakam missing and the gap between some of these not being huge. The Bulls still have good odds of winning.
Turnovers-With the Bulls turnovers being a main factor in the loss, limiting turnovers and forcing the Raptors to make more should be a necessity for this game. The Toronto Raptors have the best TPG in the league, turning over the ball only 11.8 times a game.
Injury Report:
CHI:
Lonzo Ball - OUT
Andre Drummond - QUESTIONABLE
Coby White - OUT
Zach Lavine - PROBABLE
TOR:
Pascal Siakam - OUT
BETTING ODDS:
The Bulls are favored by 4 points with the total being 221.
Moneyline odds are set at Bulls-173 and Raptors +146.
Now I think the Bulls money line and the over for total points are locks for this game due to the return of high-scoring Lavine.
